Welcome to Hybrid Search!

I have been working in the recruitment industry for the last 14 years. During this time I have been fortunate to work for a large global corporate followed by 3 privately run businesses. Throughout this time I have had many good and bad experiences and developed many skills. I have been able to work with some fantastic individuals and have learnt so much over the years.

My career has developed through a global high street recruitment company through to an outstanding interim management business through to two executive search consultancies. The last 2.5 years has been a wonderful period of time and has allowed me to work across many different countries and cultures. I have also been able to deliver many exciting search projects along with other people related projects such as career transition, coaching and development, training, talent mapping and leadership development.

My dream has always been to be my own boss, and over the last few years, this desire has intensified. My vision is to create a recruitment consultancy with a difference. My aim is to cherry pick all of the good stuff from an executive search consultancy and a recruitment agency and create a ‘hybrid model’.

My personal situation has also dramatically changed over the last 12 months. My wife gave birth to our wonderful twin girls. I have spent the last ten years of my career commuting 2 hours per day. I want this to change. I want to build my career around my family and not the other way around. Time is precise, and I want to spend as much time as possible with my family.

I have also been fortunate to meet and work with Dan for the last 2.5 years. We instantly hit it off and have worked on many fantastic projects during this period with lots of success. We make a great team and deliver. Dan is at a similar period ins life, his son was also born last year.

Many a chat over a beer turns to work, and it became apparent to me that Dan also has a big driver to be his own boss. Further beer chats took place, and we soon realised we were aligned and both were dreaming big dreams.

Hybrid has been created with a desire to create an honest, genuine and straight forward search consultancy that provides clients with a superb experience and value for money. We want to do something worthwhile, have fun and a great time while doing it and be our own boss.
